Seattle, Washington

August 24, 2011

What is Startup Riot? It's one day with twenty-five startups presenting for 3 minutes each and then answering questions for 3 minutes. Audience members get to help pick the top three winners. Plus it's affordable to attend and we make sure only the right people get in the room (sorry, no non-sponsoring service providers). What's not to like?
Venue
We'll be at Showbox SoDo for our Seattle career fair and day long extravaganza!
Be a Part of It
Sorry, it's too late now. Let's make sure you know about the next one early enough by getting you on our mailing list.
Need a job?
You might want to attend our Seattle career fair also/instead of our main event. We'd love to help you, or someone you know, get a new job!
Accommodations
We've partnered with Airbnb to bring you better and more affordable lodging in Seattle during Startup Riot. Just use this link and the code STARTUPRIOTSEATTLE for $50 off any stay in Seattle between August 20th and August 30th.
Keynote Speakers
Jonathan Kay, Ambassador of Buzz at Grasshopper, is our morning keynote speaker. Jonathan created Grasshopper's word of mouth department and is responsible for generating over 450 mentions in the last 2.5 years. He is also a founder of the Barcamp Tour.
Jeremy Hanks, co-founder of Doba, is our afternoon keynote speaker. At Doba, Jeremy bootstrapped the company and lead it to 3,000% growth over 4 years landing the company at #23 on the Inc. 500. Jeremy is an avid outdoor enthusiast and has on at least one occasion, tangled with a boulder. In case you're wondering, the boulder (mostly) won.
